Od ubiegłego tygodnia w ramach programu AIESEC gościmy w naszej szkole wolontariuszki z Rosji- Anastazję i Marię. Prowadzą one zajęcia z uczniami, przybliżając kulturę i kraj naszego wschodniego sąsiada. Spędzamy razem czas, pokazujemy im Sanok i okolicę. Zaprzyjaźniliśmy się. Dla Was odpowiedziały na kilka pytań:

  1. A FEW WORDS ABOUT YOURSELVES?

We are Maria and Anastasia. We have come from Russia, Kaliningrad. We are both 19 and study at the IKBFU, linguistics faculty. Anastasia is a life-couch, actress, teacher and director of event-agency. Maria is a musician, roller-skater, event-manager. We are best friends.

  1. WHY DID YOU TAKE PART IN AIESEC PROGRAMME?

We really like travelling, getting to know other countries and cultures. Also it’s a good practice for us as for linguists. Finally, we would like to break some sterotypes about our country and show that we are not so terrible how people can imagine Russians. Moreover, Anastasia has already taken part in the same project in Czech Republic so we wanted to have this kind of experience together.

  1. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT POLAND AND POLISH PEOPLE? IS THERE ANYTHING THAT SURPRISED YOU?

Actually, Poland is quite similar to Russia so there was not anything that surprised us a lot. Poland is our neighbour and we’ve been here for many times. We love this country and people who live here. Fortunately, we didn’t meet any bad attitude to us from the citizens

in spite of current political situation.

  1. WHAT ARE YOUR IMPRESSIONS FROM WORKING WITH OUR STUDENTS?

It was nice. We worked in high school. Students here are more concious, more aware, they understand a lot. They were interested in than complicated things than just colourful pictures, they were attentive, quiet and asked questions.

  1. HOW DO YOU FIND SANOK AND THE REGION HERE?

Sanok is  quite small but pleasant city. It’s calm but you can find here everything what you need. Our host-families showed us many local attractions like ruined castle and dam. Also it’s the region of mountains and we are in fond of them so we enjoyed being here.

  1. WOULD YOU RECOMMEND TAKING PART IN THE PROGRAMME?

This opportunity is a good chance to see the world, to practice language and meet a lot of new impressive and talented people from all over the world. So we definitely recommed to take part in this kind of programme because after it you will have a lot of memories for  whole your life. But be attentive to AIESEC local commitee that you work with because the level of organisation and every country and city is different and Wasrsaw commitee is not the best one.
